Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device that let a website work and remember your choices. Some are strictly necessary; others (analytics, advertising) are optional and require your consent.
Cookies we use
YouPress currently uses only essential cookies, needed for the platform to function. Under the ePrivacy rules these do not require prior consent.
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in between pages (set by Supabase). Without it, login would not work.
- Preferences — remembers settings such as the light/dark theme (stored on your device).
- Payment & security — on checkout and payout pages, Stripe may set cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.
Local storage (not cookies)
We also save small settings in your browser's local storage (not cookies): your theme preference and the last map area you viewed, so the app reopens where you left it.
Analytics & performance
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure traffic and page performance. They are privacy-friendly: aggregated and anonymous, and they do not set tracking cookies nor profile you across sites.
Cookies we do NOT use
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. If we introduce any in the future, we will show a consent banner and ask for your permission before activating them.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from staying logged in and using parts of the service.
